Ruqyah Treatment and How it Works

This spiritual treatment has proven to be extremely beneficial for treating illnesses like black magic (sihr), evil eye, djinn possession and many physical and mental ailments.

The conditions for the ruqyah to be performed and to be helpful for a person is that one puts his full trust and dependence only on Allah, the ultimate source of all cures.

When Allah and His Messenger ﷺ has left Qur’ān and Sunnah for us, why would we need to head somewhere else for our heart and soul’s cure.

As narrated in Qur’ān, [al-Isra’ 17:82]:
“And We send down of the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism and act on it), and it increases the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) nothing but loss”

Many questions arise about whether performing ruqyah is permissible in Islam or not. Here I would like to state that ruqyah is not something invented by spiritual scholars, it is what’s left for us from Allah and His Messenger. How can reciting Qur’ānic verses and invocations for spiritual healing be wrong? It is permissible to do it to yourself and it is also allowed to ask someone to do it for you.

How Ruqyah Works

Ruqyah works in miraculous ways for the believer, it’s a process that a spiritual practitioner takes into account by performing amalyat and reciting powerful verses from the Qur’ān — these verses and amalyat are specified for each ailment and any spiritual problem.

Ruqyah treatment is not only specified for any demonic possession, evil eye or black magic but also for other physical ailments and concerns regarding life and health.

My way of performing ruqyah is by listening to your problems first and then analyzing and choosing the right verses or supplications for it. InshAllah, you will see results, as long as you follow the conditions prescribed to you.

For instance, if you contact me regarding spiritual ruqyah treatment, there will be certain rules to follow in order for it to work. Like fasting, place and time of recitations, and diet. These conditions are applicable both on your end and mine for the best practice of spiritual ruqyah. It’s also essential that you have a firm belief in the power of these verses and on Allah. As believing is the first step toward healing.
